phaetonschariot has made a fanvid in exchange for my help_haiti donation. I asked for an ode to Jack's coat and subjected her to 80s Who music. (80s Who as in Daltrey, not Doctor.) Do you know how hard it is to find songs about coats? It's from Ianto's POV and it's AWESOME.

It's very similar to LiveJournal, so the difference is... it's newer? Shinier? Run by fen?

I'm unconvinced that it's necessary (unless LJ goes down, is re-sold, etc.) Are InsaneJournal and JournalFen pulling in the do$h?

In honor of Memorial Day in the US and Real!Jack, the week's theme for the drabble community tw100 is The Fallen. I haven't done any drabbles for a while but do miss it.

Two of the anonymous porn battle stories have been claimed by their authors - angstslashhope (Intermezzo) and cruentum (Tosh/Gwen), have claimed their tales. There are also some newer submissions on page two. Do let writers know if you liked their stuff, and check out their other fic.   (We've been asked again, and yep... it's totally fine to repost your stories on your LJ/comms. They're yours.)   :)

Working on a follow-up to Desk Set with Jack and Ianto but I am in a reading mood, not a writing mood.  Unfortunately.

There's a TARDIS BigBang poll for writers who should be committed have committed to writing a fic here if you haven't taken it. (And I am not the only one who is behind on this thang.) How's yours coming along?

Need to work on Angel/Spike fic for grazieprego . I have a... title.

Am also in a video-watching mood.  I'm a huge fan of Wim Wenders films and have run across a lovely fanvid for Wings of Desire byesther_nairn511   One of two angels desires the impossible: to trade immortality for love of a mortal, and to become mortal himself.

Still so sad that Solveig Dommartin died so young (at the age of 45 in 2007). I love her voice. So much.

Wings of Desire was her debut film.  Which films do you find visually arresting?
