So, Gareth David-Lloyd is in that new Sherlock Holmes flick from horror flick production company Global Asylum.

Synopsis from GDL's Facebook, emphasis mine.  ENORMOUS MONSTERS. ATTACKING LONDON. OMFG.

"Hopefully, with the support of Gareth's Dr Watson, Holmes will be able to outwit the enormous monsters attacking London! The film, which also stars Dominic Keating, is expected to be available on DVD in January 2010 and will include a 'Making Of...' extra."

I ganked this picture from dailypost.co.uk. They're filming in North Wales.

I like zombies, too.

Hey, in your opinion... does Re-Animator count as a zombie flick?

ORLY?

I LOVED that film, I really did. The other non-traditional zombie film I really like (though I enjoy Romero stuff and Shaun of the Dead) is The Serpent and the Rainbow, which gave me NIGHTMARES for MONTHS.

Voodoo and the spike thing. Dude. I was so glad I didn't have man parts at that point.

Shit. I don't have a zombie icon.

Re-Animator! OMG, I loved that movie! I saw it for the first time in Madrid, dubbed into Spanish, which did wonders for the dialog.

Just reread Roger Ebert on this film. (His willingness, nay eagerness, to review horror films is one of his more endearing qualities.) He talks about 'the tension between the director's desire to make a good movie, and his realization that few movies about mad scientists and dead body parts are ever likely to be very good.' Yeah, that would about sum it up. Great vid.

Also, while I'm here, very nice story, eh?
