So, Gareth David-Lloyd is in that new Sherlock Holmes flick from horror flick production company Global Asylum.

Synopsis from GDL's Facebook, emphasis mine.  ENORMOUS MONSTERS. ATTACKING LONDON. OMFG.

"Hopefully, with the support of Gareth's Dr Watson, Holmes will be able to outwit the enormous monsters attacking London! The film, which also stars Dominic Keating, is expected to be available on DVD in January 2010 and will include a 'Making Of...' extra."

I ganked this picture from dailypost.co.uk. They're filming in North Wales.

AND:  I've beta-read a touching post-COE story by [livejournal.com profile] stuffphile

I sort of can't wait for that movie. Even though I should be crying tears of canon purism...

But do we have any pictures of Mr Keating in character yet? I want to know. And I want a pipe. And... I ship it. I'm shipping it sort of freeform with no focus, but I feel very compelled.

It doesn't matter how scruffy he tries to be, Ianto has condemned GDL to doing the cute in a suit thing on tele FOREVER.

...does the Sherlock Holmes thing remind anyone else of "League of Extrordinary Gentlemen"? Or is that just another one of those me things?

LOL, it's going straight to DVD, so...

I wonder if the big style Sherlock Holmes flick with Downey and Law will pique curiosity?

Ha! Probably!

As long as he doesn't have to wear one in real life + is being paid, I'm sure he'll embrace being besuited.

He should do a guest barrister shot on Law & Order UK. LOLZ.
