I, uh... didn't actually finish my story. Plot: Owen dies, right? (OMG) And he slowly loses more and more of his sensory perception; the scent of autumn bonfires, the feel of a rose petal against his wrist, the taste of pepperami.  He develops tunnel vision.

So Tosh (OMG the angst!) uses the BethHelmet to secretly upload Owen's psyche into the Hub's mainframe. OHAI, HAL At first he's grr, so angry at her for talking him into this. He becomes even more detached than he was in his decaying form and spends most of his time porning online (like a typical Torchwood fan), THEN he flips out and starts jonesing on tech power like Lawnmower Man and mayhem ensues. AND THEN he has an epiphany + redemption + Tosh dies and is uploaded too + The Doctor takes them to the Silence In The Library/Forest of the Dead planet and they live sappily ever after, but probably with different partners because I just can't ship them. Maybe so after Owen's epiphany, though. It would have been like Digital Shanshu.

See, it would have taken ages to read that whole saga. Look how much time I just saved you.  TARDIS BITE SIZED!

So, I didn't finish mine, but [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge  ([info]sam_storyteller) did, and of course it's awesome (and I know this already because I helped to beta-read it).  It has a wonderful plot and TAROT and the Torchwood team and Sarah Jane and things I'm not going to spoil.  Do go read Sing Morning Out Of Night. :)

I also did cover art for a really nice Andy/Ianto story by [profile] the_silver_sunA Year Out Of Time. Hope the author likes it. *crosses fingers*

You just did! It was like Masterpiece LJ, right there.

I'm at work right now managing a Fortune 500 company with one hand and eating a microwave chimichanga with the other, and you expect WIT too?

I'm only one woman, and I don't even wear Enjoli.

The non-finishers' club!

I was beta-reading another really awesome story, but the author is still working on it. I'm not sure if she'll post it as chapters or something else.

Loved your mini TBB story, seems like an interesting idea, maybe someone else will write it for you! Don't look at me though, I've just finished a labour of love (posted first chapter today)so I'm all mused out.
Will def read sams story, I love his stuff.

Oh, if someone else writes mine, that'd be brilliant!

I might pay them in microwave chimichangas. I have extra. :D

At the risk of sounding very British, what's a chimichanga? Sounds like a wierd xbreed dog to me and as you're microwaving one I hope that's not right!

You can still finish yours! Great story! I loved your art. I just scrolled through the list of stories. Looks like I've got my reading cut out for me for awhile. Can't wait to read sam's and all the others, including the finished version of the one I did a vid for.

It's Turn Into by rhi. Ianto is turned into a woman - how does everyone deal with it? I've only read the first half or so, which was completed at time of 1st draft, as well as outline of the rest. I thought it was very good. http://www.tardisbigbang.com/Round2/41-balance.php

Not sure. I didn't upload it, the mods did. I just tried the download and what it did was just opened a new window in my browser (!) and started playing. I could see it, no problem. The youTube version looks fine though, just try that. Or, you can d/l from where I put it up: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5O0Z2TX0

Foxy, I was picturing your story in movie form. It seems very cinematic and enthralling. If I watched it I would be thinking about it for a long time afterward. It could be really flippin' funny, too. Owen's cranky and horny self trapped in the mainframe:)

Awww I woulda liked that. Maybe all you kids who didn't finish can put yours all together--alternate chapters--that could be exciting! Best read while drinking wine, I imagine!

LOL.

Maybe next year?!

It's too haaaaaaaard to write long stories (which are entertaining, make sense, etc.) I might not be built for that particular fic form.

I was so unhappy with what I had so far - the beginning, ending and a chunk of middle. :D

Seee.... the long stories are what I love. It is the short tihngs that slay me, sigh. I wish so bad I could write smart short fics!

Interesting premise. And I liked your art -- very classy! But I have to say the art for my fic is so fucking fantastic!!!! It's like 1 million times better than my fic, which is a total popcorn summer movie fic. There is one small plot point about toilet paper, and one of the artists managed to work that into the art. It's hysterical. I love the artists so hard!!!

I am reading [livejournal.com profile] blackbird_song's right now. Sam's will probably wait until my eight hour train ride this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it (the fic, not spending eight hours on the train).

Am I spoiling myself with spoilery spoilers if I peek at the art?

Nothing is spoiled in the art that I don't state in the summary. I can't get over how much I adore my art! I want to make buttons out of the Gwen & Ianto one...
