I apologize for my kick-assedness. I do not wish you to be eating cold beanie weenies.

"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Sorry, I had a Network moment. Please resume your executively officely duties. :)

YOU! Culprit! With your wisecracky Winchester videos and the concert review I haven't had a chance to read yet.

This is my fit of pique!

Also I fucking love Pink Floyd. My 6-year-old son wore a Dark Side of The Moon shirt to school today and everyone from the bus driver to the vice principal complimented him on his shirt. LOL.

Haha, that is so cool!

Every time Pink Floyd comes up, my husband reminds me how Syd Barrett thought he was a carrot. I don't think that's exactly true, but he was delusional.

(He did grow carrots.)

And I'm in no rush for the fic. Just....anticipating. Mmmm.

Have some revisions. Polishing it nervously, like a vintage car that may or may not ever run again. It's therapeutic.

Thank you, I'll try to amuse. I don't even have any good riddles!

Wait. Is the lettuce wrapped around the chicken or the chicken wrapped around the lettuce?

butter lettuce leaves
cubed chicken
red wine vinegar
chopped garlic
Napa Valley spice mix (it is a salad mix actually)
shaved cucumber
way cool amazing organic sugar free no carb salad dressing

cook 2nd through 5th up, spoon into leaves, plunk some sauce on it and shaved cucumber, fold, dip in bowl of salad dressing and enjoy!

OMG I love this with Shrimp too...easy peasy! I cook a whole chicken in my schlemmertopf and then have this a couple of times a week.

Write more Jack-John, that's amusing!

Ooh, that sounds good Are you low-carbing? I feel superhuman when I don't eat many carbs.

Hmm, I have everything but the cucumber and spice mix. I might have to make that this week!

(I was going to be reduced to the beans after losing my job for goofing off all day, but I bucked up and did some work, so that was good. And I've got some to do at the house.)

Schlemmertopf. Had to look that up. :D

I am low-carbing, no sugar-ing, no wheat-ing! Have lost 40 lbs. since January 1st.

I decided I was done being fat--gone from a 16 to a 10, am a measly .08 of a lb away from normal BMI. This week I shall do it!

Yo baby!

Way to go, you! That's awesome. And so quick! It took me a little over a year to go from, um, quite a bit larger than a 16 to a 10 and I am *so close* to being in single digits! I *will* persevere! I say as I guzzle a rum and coke...

Ack, just crappy day. I waited 45 minutes for my bus this morning and then the metro broke down on the way home, and one of my co-workers was let go out of the blue b/c of the economy, and my dinner was -- off. Decided to toss it and have leftovers instead.

This outfit is from the Qatari version of TJ Maxx. Well, a few rungs below TJ Maxx. My niece liked it (she was two at the time) but we convinced her it was not ideal. You should have seen some of the other outfits...

Oh the things little kids will pick out to wear...

The mind boggles.

I did have a very weird lilac dress as a baby and it ended up on my only good baby doll. Wonder if my mother still has the dress? I'm wearing it in my first birthday picture.

The CUTEST little girl clothes? Monsoon in the UK. My nieces got so many little dresses and sweaters from that shop. (AND I hope their mother kept them because they blew my wallet out hard-core. But we don't have kids, so...)

AND I am so sorry about your crappy day. :(

Monsoon! Yes! The malls in Qatar have British stores, and I have bought some Monsoon for my nieces when I was visiting them. Very cute! In the States I like Gymboree. But it's also expensive, though I tend to raid the sales racks and bins.

Am going to bed now and tomorrow is another day. Though 'twill be rainy.

Actually, it's not. It's Clarence Rook.

No it's not. But it's pretty bad.

Hope today is much better and not too damp. :)
