I fixed Laptop II. (This thing was giving me nightmares and I'm really happy to have it back.)  So. Bookmark dump!

It's a trap!  Found via mopo.ca.  Simultaneously funny and deeply creepy. What do you do, bring home a date and kick out the stick?

Then... you both smother in a giant plywood crypt.

If this had been made of cardboard, I wouldn't worry:

Contemporary Box Criticism: 10 Cardboard Boxes That Are Worth More Than Your Soul  If you attempt to assign some sort of artistic value to everyday things, you'll like this. :)

Cinema's Top Ten Cross Dressers from Nerve.com. Nerve gives Jonathan Cameron Mitchell the top spot for Hedwig and the Angry Inch, but I really liked Julie Andrews as a woman-playing-a-man-playing-a-woman in Victor/Victoria, because I really like Julie Andrews.
Note the heights of the male dancers. Well-cast.  )

...and this coffee table is on sale. I really like the little extra table surface which pulls out from the underside.  This could be my floor desk!

Spent the afternoon doing random neglected chores (putting clean clothes away. I HATE THAT.)  I don't mind washing or folding, but hate putting folded items away. That might be weird.

So I left that unfinished in favor of surfing and poking through YouTube and posting a bookmark and pic dump.

The Personality Defect Test.  (I'm an Emo Kid.) :(  The questions/setup are funny, IMHO.

Look! Young John Barrowman. Cute, huh? I'd like to see a film where he's a UN translator and uses his Scottish accent. He can't witness a murder, though. That's been done. Maybe he can just sit around wearing headphones and looking hot.

ETA: Posting a poll on the next Porn Battle soon.  Any suggestions?  Everyone seemed to like having multiple themes.  There will be one more battle before Torchwood S3.

Saturday!  Oh how I love you, Saturday.

I was fairly certain I'd signed up for an lgbtfest fic prompt but apparently either dreamed this or did something wrong. This is one less thing to stress about, but I'd been working on an early-60's-Jack/Whitehall official/affair near-scandal story.  So... no deadline. Cool.

[livejournal.com profile] neifile7  and I are working on a story together starring Gwen... and Jack's greatcoat. The two come together at last!

From the bookmarks:

Down or Not? Is LiveJournal down? Not at the moment, but this is useful if you can't access any site. Is it you or is it them?  (Note: It's usually them.)

A huge list of songs referencing different times of day in both titles and lyrics, from The Human Clock.  (Many reference 4:00 am. Maybe lyricists don't sleep well.)

On the early 60's theme, I followed a vid rec on [livejournal.com profile] crack_van  yesterday to a fantastic Man from U.N.C.L.E fanvid by [livejournal.com profile] vysila   iI'm not deep into this fandom, but I have a crush on Robert Vaughn, okay? It's adorable!

Illya/Napoleon FTW! )

Another "junk found in my bookmarks" post.

Chuck me in the shallow water. Nathaniel the model.

Occasionally I'll trawl through bookmarks and dump a bunch of things on the LJ.

Here are some images I found intriguing for various reasons. And the reasons.
