You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents,
beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home
decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

Wow, that is one debauched-looking Empress! Makes me wonder what the Emperor looks like... ;)

I had risotto last night, and I just had two kinds of home made cake with ice cream. Not that I'm trying to make you jealous, or anything.

You ARE the Empress. I think the Internet Tarot Girl chose well on your behalf. (Especially that association with Venus.)

I won't tell you what we had for dinner tonight, because you'll just get more jellus. But it was even more nommable than risotto.

Don't let work eat your head. YOU NEED THAT HEAD. As do we all. <3

I got the Magician. I always draw the Magician in physical readings, so this was not unexpected. :D When a friend made a deck using a bunch of people who hung out on a website together, I was "Strength". Which I must admit I liked. :P I'll see if I can find it and post it.

I'm not surprised that you're the Empress. I also might have chosen The World for you, if I were choosing. It's about completion/fulfillment/fruition, and I see you helping so many people bring so many vastly successful projects to fruition. :D It's such a lovely card. And then you get to push people over the cliff as the cycle returns to The Fool -- and they know when they step over, you'll be there at the bottom with a net to catch them.

The Magician is interesting!

I've never had a reading. I'm slightly paranoid about being told something dreadful.:D

The World... that's flattering. TY BB!

A good reader won't tell you something dreadful; they'll look for optimism in any situation.

(I say this having done a mutual reading with a friend and we both pulled "The Tower". He looked at me. I looked at him. We were both leaving town in the next 3 days -- for good -- and we just burst into tears! We were BAD readers for each other!)
