Ten Favorite Pairings Meme (wait... I have more than ten)

I'm weird about pairings/shipping. I may ship two characters and write fic about them, but NOT want to see them together on the program/in the film. Because I love on the UST. However, I do dig on some canon pairings as well.


In no particular ranking order:

Jack Harkness/John Hart - Torchwood (comes as a shock, huh?)

Jack/Rose/Doctor (Ten) - Doctor Who (That's three. I know! I can count, sometimes. The more the merrier!)

Spike/Buffy - Buffy the Vampire Slayer (love lots of writers, including obvs slaymesoftly and nautibitz )

Shane/Anyone - The L Word (Shane is the Jack Harkness of The L Word. I <3 her.)

Gibbs/Abby - NCIS  - I like the age difference here. I am not sure why. No, I don't have any daddy issues.

Kirk/Spock - Star Trek (Duh.) You've seen the Closer vid, right? This remake is for you today, andreth47 ! :)

Jack/Everyone else besides John Hart (It's Jack! He deserves much sexing. I've written Jack/Ianto, Jack/Gwen, OC's etc.)

Buffy/Giles - Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Shuddup, OK? I still don't have any daddy issues. Plus, she's of age.) Here's some porn.

Mulder/Scully - The X-Files (but also Mulder/Krycek and Scully/Krycek. Because. Foe!yay!)

Rick/Ilsa - Casablanca (but the ending is perfect anyway.)

Catherine/Warrick - CSI

Xena/Gabrielle - Xena: Warrior Princess

I'm with you on Spuffy, John/Jack, Jack/Gwen, Mulder/Scully and Cath/Warrick. Do you ship Sara/Nick from CSI? And Willow/Giles? I always thought there was something between them. and Giles/Joyce! :D
I liked Kryczek in X; sometimes I really wanted to redeem the guy to join M and S as a friend.

Rick/Ilsa! Oh, you're lovely! I tend to go almost strictly canon, myself. Jack/Ianto, Mulder/Scully, Syd/Vaughn, Chuck/Sarah, Jim/Pam, Gwen/Rhys, Sylar/Mohinder, Dean/Castiel (um...guess those last two aren't exactly canon, but you get the general idea).

Jim/Pam is an adorable pairing but I love Dwight/Angela!

Just have to have some kind of obstacle/challenge/conflict in the relationship to really love a pairing to bits, I think. In real-life relationships, I hate drama, though. It's vicarious conflict!

That icon is GOLDEN! XD Oh man I totally get almost all of my icons elsewhere from people with better icon making skills than me. I do have a couple of Gibbs/Abby ones saved from people. I have two in my userpics right now actually (the one I'm using here) and this one. :-) I'll point you in the direction of some more later if you'd like.
