[Error: unknown template qotd] Yes. In "real life", I actually behave.  (Dial it down a notch. Keep mouth shut. Retain job.)

No shrinking violet, but not a shrieking violet either.  ETA: Is there a louder flower? Fuchsias?

I'm the same way in front of the people I HAVE to behave around. But otherwise, I really don't behave. Still, I do "adjust my dial" depending on which friends we're around.

I haven't ever really had friends where I can be 100% fully myself around, other than my husband, because they get a bit freaked. I'm quite pervy and I'd love it if all my friends hung out with me naked but that's just me. LOL.

See, this is exactly why I'm drawn to Captain Jack!

Drawn to Captain Jack? You ARE Captain Jack!

(Well, not when he's all serious and teary-eyed about space whales.)

I'm not sure if there is a fictional character that's like me.

But I think would be teary-eyed about space whales if I ever met one. I like mammals! :)

I don't think I look like any celebrity. My friend Chrissy always says I look like Neve Campbell and while I can see the resemblance, it's not exactly the same (of course!).

Before TW, I used to relate a lot to Faith from Buffy. I still do but I'm not as... bitchy as she is. I don't like being being bitchy. Snarky, hell yes, but bitchy, no.

Aww, you look like Neve? Pritteh!

I don't resemble anyone famous. I am thinking of ripping off Eve Myles' new haircut, though.

I'm not as thin as Neve, nor do I think I'm as pretty as her. But our heads are very similar, lol. We have very similar hair, that's for sure, especially here: http://www.ugo.com/movies/chick-fights/images/wildthings.jpg

Ooh, what does Eve's new hair look like?

Gareth: What's up with the hat, yo? And we can see the tag on the back o' yo undies.

I rip the tags out of my undies. That jazz is scratchy.

I hate those damn tags. Itchy! And it's not like I'm going to leave them on to sell them at a garage sale in the future. Because. NO.

Still, happy to see SOME mankissing, however mild. Seriously, yo, is Gareth bi? I think he's at least a 2 on the Kinsey scale, I'm telling you. Not quite fully bi but kind of mancrushing... ;)

Hell no. You'd sell your panties on eBay to fetishists. They don't care if they'll fit or hot. They just wear 'em like ski masks, anyway.

Yeah, maybe a 2. I dunno. (Beat But I'd read that fic.)

I LOVE Kubrick! I'm a big Kubrick fan (though I prefer The Shining and 2001 and Clockwork Orange over Full Metal Jacket). Never seen Faster Pusscat, actually. I need to remedy that.

I LOVE Kubrick toooooo! Every film is radically different.

Confession: I hated Eyes Wide Shut. Nicole, why are you speaking extra s-l-o-w-w-w? I wanted to pull words out of her like you'd yank the ponytail out of a broken Crissy doll.

Faster Pussycat... we should save for when we all have a slumber party! (No knives).

I have Nicole Kidman issues, period. I think she was high most of the movie, "Because....I'm MARRRRR-IED". I don't knock being high but when Nicole is high, it's annoying.

I do love Kubrick and I don't mind that movie but it's not among my favorites. Probably because of Kidman. Tom Cruise didn't help any either.

Ooooh, slumber party, it's a deal! Let's invite Rizzo!

And how can I resist a prompt like that?

You want to know something funny? Since I saw this movie a a kid, way before I knew about sex, for the longest time, I thought a penis was called a pelvis because of that line, "Elvis, Elvis, let me be... keep that pelvis FAR from me" LOL.

OH, and Barrowman sings the Grease soundtrack too! I can't find his version of Sandra Dee on YouTube but here's Grease (just audio, no vid) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6t0sqrmWWE

I dig her haircut--from the Hub 2 pics I have seen posted. You should get it!

One questions asked of her while on a panel: Owen got to be King of the Weevils; who would you want to be queen of?

Eve: The Blowfish!

I was like, Yeah, baby! Rule away!

Found a not so old LJ entry with a photo collage of me and my friends so you can see what I look like.
http://oneloveonelight.livejournal.com/134172.html#cutid1

My hair's shorter and darker now, this was my long hair/blonde highlight phase (about a year and a half ago) where my hair looks nothing like Neve's. In the first photo, I'm the girl in the middle with my tongue out. In the second, is my husband asleep on New Years. I'm hugging/semi choking the drunk girl in the 6th photo. In the pic with the guy and the gun, I'm pretending to lick his ass (I'm at the VERY bottom of the photo). As far as other photos, I'm the girl whipping the other and I'm also the one on the right in the hump sandwich in the lower right corner.

Hey, you look how I pictured you. Cute as hell!

That whipping picture. A.) LOL B.) Where did you get such an awesome highlighting job?

(Now everyone's going to beg for the pic. It's not THAT KIND OF WHIPPING, PEOPLE IT INVOLVES A PARTY FAVOR AND PEOPLE ARE ALL DRESSED.)

Thanks! Though I'm very weird about photos of myself and I only post the halfway decent ones. I have some angles where I'm just like, "GAH!!!" There's the double chin effect sometimes and then there's the "retarded" angle. LOL.

I actually did my hair. I don't cut it ever but I dye and highlight it. I got lucky a few times with highlighting but I honestly won't do it anymore by myself. Dyeing almost always works well if I do it but home highlighting carries a high risk of failure.

Hee. I picture you as a combination of Rizzo, Debbie Harry and Gina Gershon. I have no idea why. ;)

Thanks, I am really not a hair stylist at ALL, I just got lucky that time. I take lots of risks with my hair and figure if it looks shitty by the time I'm done with it, then I can always go to the salon and they'll fix it.

YAY! Yeah, post pics sometime! I don't want to invade anyone's privacy or make anyone uncomfortable. But it's nice to kind of get an idea of what everyone looks like. I think I told you but my friend Amy always used Scully icons for her and I always associated her with Scully. And when I finally saw a pic of her, she really did kind of look like her a little. LOL.

What's "real life"? ;)

At work, I am making rocket ships out of cardboard boxes, assigning time outs, and using my "indoor voice."; With my friends I am a cut up--they never think I am being serious even when I am; with my family, I am quiet as a mouse and "a good listener"; with lovers, I am told I am mysterious and confusing; on LJ, I get to be open about my complete obsession with TW and all things associated--and embrace the "inner perv." Guess I behave differently all the time.

A couple of years ago people started telling me I look like Rufus Wainwright.

My fave CJH look is when he has long sideburns--was that in Fragments? Do you remember?

(I had a dream last night that we were at a TW convention in Seattle. You were basically you, but in my friend Claire's body. It was unremarkable--we were mainly just walking around Seattle, but it was sort of like a British Seattle. I think I am a little stuck on the fact that I wasn't at Hub 2:(
