Before the trailer was released, I went through my favorite things set after Exit Wounds and re-read them. If you have any faves to share, please pop 'em in the comments? I love stories set in this time period.

Plus, here's the trailer, too. Like you haven't seen it already. Mmm. Mankissin'! It sucked trying to pause the video to take that still because the next shot? Burned guy. Ew.

Thoughts? You know, I really want to mix the footage with the Never Miss A Beat Kaiser Chiefs video.

I'm trying to get a good look of who is getting covered with the brown liquid stuff a couple shots after the burned guy. Whether it's new character or someone we know. Cause if that's the naked!Jack shot we've been hearing about, I'll be disappointed. Unless he's naked for quite some time before that.

And the random shot of Jack wearing the t-shirt and the khakis, I was like "Who is that guy in the t-shirt? It's... it's Jack." It looks like they forgot to put him in costume. It's Rhys, Gwen, Ianto and... John Barrowman.

Maybe... he lost his clothes (I don't know how that would happen, but this is Jack) and he's borrowing the t-shirt and khakis? If I had to measure a guess at who's clothes they were, they look like Rhys' clothes, but I don't think they're the same size. At all. Though we've seen Ianto's casual clothes once and probably not enough to judge what his casual wardrobe is like so maybe they're his (I say this just because I'd guess them to be closer in size, not for any Jack/Ianto-y reasons).

I'm just trying to think up a good reason for him wearing random clothes that could have been product of his nudity.

That's from a movie he was in a few years ago, Method. Someone uploaded all his scenes from it awhile ago and I downloaded it. His character's gay, if that isn't obvious from this shot. There's a whole scene or 2 in the bedroom where he's practically naked. guh.

I didn't even realize that was Jack until a saw a screencap! I thought it was just some random person. He looks extra shlubby there - who knew you could make John Barrowman look shlubby? bad costuming move. And Ianto's pants are too long also. Yeah, the burned person better not be the promised naked!Jack, I'm telling ya.

It was hard to tell in the actual trailer. I did the exact same thing. Of course, I downloaded it and looked at it frame by frame just for research purposes. And then there's that burned body right after this kiss, that's a shock.

I have seen speculation that the burned body is in fact Jack's. What can you tell from the frames?

It looks sort of skinny to be Jack, but... I'm not sure. Could be. Coming back to life?

PS About a month ago, I was obsessed with Solsbury Hill. I kept reading the lyrics over and over again.

I guess I always thought the song was about a Jesus-like experience or something. And if you read about it in wikipedia, it doesn't even mention this. But I think it is about Jesus getting cold feet after God tells him to start his ministry. And then gains courage and goes forth with it.

It seems like such a beautiful and original idea. I actually told my TW fan friend that it is kind of like Bible fanfic.

This also seems to put a stop to all the rumours about Martha and Mickey joining Torchwood. Though if tSE was set [i]after[/i] this, it's still possible. I will not give up hope!
