I chose "whatever," though most of the triads I've read have been M/F/M. There wasn't room for Jack/Ianto/Lisa, which is another fave, along with Doctor/Rose/Jack and Snape/Hermione/Lupin, which I did put. I keep trying to get someone to write Snape/Hermione/Luna, but as I've no inspiration there either, I can hardly complain that nobody else writes it. Have also read the odd Drapery (Draco/Snape/Harry) or Jack/Ianto/Doctor. I can barely find F/F, never mind F/F/F though.
F/F/F has got to be tough to find. I can only really think of The Devil Wears Prada for enough female main characters who really know each other well enough...
Gosh, I don't know if I've ever seen F/F/F fanfic, to be honest.
I know there was some Sophie/Parker/Maggie in Leverage last summer but frankly Parker doesn't work for me in that scenario. Now, a universe where there could be Sophie/Maggie/El would be DELIGHTFUL!
Grey'a Anatomy/Private Practice fandom has/had some. I even wrote one for a porn battle (the multi-fandom one). I've seen a few others but it's rare - usually if there's an f/f threesome it will be f/f/m (not that I mind that either).
Heh, Drapery's one of the few mashup names I really like. I think alisanne coined it. She writes a fair bit of it, anyway.
I don't imagine there's much F/F/F out there. There's probably some Hermione/Lavender/Parvati in HP, but I don't even buy Hermione/Lavender for the most part. Sometimes it's not sexual tension, the characters just don't really like each other much, y'know?
