Stop. Blathertime.
Apr. 30th, 2009 09:30 amGrrr arggh... I was doing a character meme after being tagged by
oneloveonelight with Captain Jack Hotness Harkness, but I relaunched Firefox to update Flash and lost everything, so will hit that bad boy later. (Insert your own "I'd hit that like..." tagline here.)
I'm enjoying Torchwood stories set immediately post Exit-Wounds right now, like
lionessvalenti's Grieving Process A * (Jack/Gwen). Have you written or memmed one? Point me to it, please? Because I'm lazy.
Today's "Writer's Block" thing is (paraphrasing here): Are you worried about Swine Flu? How will you deal with quarantine, etc.?
Like anybody else. If there's a quarantine, I'm locking myself in the house, getting drunk and watching 28 Days Later. Could be worse. Cannibal zombie virus > Flu. (Bonus: Did you know they have giant Cheetos now? I'm stocking up!)
Following on twitter: The flu-pocalyptic @Veratect Stolen from
oletheros: Do You Have Swine Flu?
In other cheerful news, the Antarctic ice shelf is breaking apart.
( So basically, we're screwed. Here's a video. )
ETA: Any other virus apocalypse books/films to rec? (The Stand, etc.) I'm planning a morbid-thon this weekend.
And now there's a Part II - Grieving Process B
