In the Jane Austen fandom, there are two main sites and lots of splinter sites and post my stories on the two main sites...and not on LJ at all (though I do post links). Hope that didn't screw with your stats

Not at all... just informally asking... and curious. Are there places you know your story will stay up if someone shuts down a main site?

Nope. But one site is extremely stable and I know the admins (met online then met in RL while traveling), so I have confidence they will stay up. Actually, I know the admins on BOTH sites, but one is new enough to wonder about. Except that they have non-profit status, so they seem more stable than what they replaced. I give money to one or both every year.
