See, I read the text and all I can see in my head is a scene where Ianto is standing at the pearly gates with his hands on his hips saying, "No. Absolutely not. He promised me a bloody office date, and after all the shit I put up with from that man, I am having my fucking office date!"
And everyone is just perplexed. "But the streets are lined with gold! Perfect coffee comes out of a faucet in the kitchen! Everything is filed sequentially in alphabetical order and not just under 'w' for weapon or 'n' for 'not a weapon!' No one will rearrange your kitchen cabinets at night because they're bored!"
Yeah, apparently my brain goes straight to "comedy" and skips the "romanantic" part.
