Tonight will be Buffy retrolicious. James Marsters is guest-starring on Numb3rs and it's the premiere of Dollhouse with Eliza Dushku.  Eliza has also been interviewed by AfterEllen.com.

Spike-Faith TV schedule GRUDGEMATCH. Who wins?

FAITH

It's all old-hat, man. (shrugs) Every guy's got some whack fantasy. Scratch the surface of any granola-type dude—naughty nurses and horny cheerleaders. (shrugs) I figure, if you can't beat 'em—

SPIKE
Join 'em.

---

FAITH
I've met you before, you know.

SPIKE
Yeah, you made a great impression on my chin.

FAITH
Not in the graveyard. Before that. I was kinda wearing a different body.

SPIKE
Pity.

FAITH
You seemed OK with it.

SPIKE
The body swap. (nods) With Buffy.

FAITH
She fill you in on that whole deal?

SPIKE
She told me it went down. Failed to mention who was driving her skin around.

FAITH
I may have said a few things...

SPIKE
(looks into Faith's eyes) Like you could ride me at a gallop 'til my knees buckle, squeeze me 'til I pop like warm champagne. That's not the kind of thing a man forgets.

FAITH
Should've known it wasn't blondie behind the wheel. She'd never throw down like that.

SPIKE
Oh, you have been away.

ETA: Happy joy!

[livejournal.com profile] aeron_lanart has written a juicy Jack/John snippet from my requested Promises, Promises prompt.

In other less-exciting news, I've redecorated in here.  It was mustier (not USTier) than Buffy's basement, but with fewer chains.

Ooh, I've been looking forward to Dollhouse, but I didn't know about Numb3rs, so I will have to take advantage of that, as well. Of course, odds are, I'll be obtaining both of them, versus watching either one when they air.

Night of sexy, nomnomnom.

Yay for the doublesexy!

I'm slightly afraid for Dollhouse with the Friday night timeslot and some of the fail-y promos, but the X-Files survived Fridays, so... maybe.

Yeah, the promos are kind of... yeah. However, I did see a really good, long promo on Wednesday during American Idol. It seemed to be playing up the controversy of what they're doing instead of just "HERE'S SEXY GIRLS. WE ERASE THEIR MEMORIES." It kind of made it look like the show had a plot.

This is reassuring. There's been some controversy floating about the sex -

I'm looking forward to some good tasty Dollhouse fic. ;)

Joss looks like a hobo.

I was just sitting out in the other room with my parents, who were watching The Price is Right and they showed a promo for Numb3rs with a split second shot of James. I was like, "SHOW HIM AGAIN!". He's so pretty. :)

He is!

"Hobo" is one of my favorite words of all time. It's just funny. Though being a hobo is not funny if it's not by choice, of course.

Oh! I hadn't heard about Numbers either. That will be cool.

I had heard about that a while back, but just today realized that this was the airdate.

Okay, now bring on our TORCHWOOD. This long wait is truly ridiculous.

*grins* Ah, old BtVS memories! Personally, I'm going for Dollhouse! Squee. Plus, Eliza has Joss on her side there.

True!

I've not watched anything yet. It'll have to wait until after the weekend. (But I'm still on Dollhouse comms and don't mind spoilers, so feel free to spoil away!)

Again, that gnawing irritation of never-having-watched-Buffy-because-England-doesn't-have-it-on-telly-and-I-don't-have-the-funds-to-buy-it bites my ankle. I want to watch James Marsters with blonde hair goddammit!

Now you know why British people want to live in America. I still have no idea why Americans want to live in Britain. Unless they have a rain-fetish.

You have better pubs? Also, most of your television and radio is vastly better.
