today's thoughts

1.)  I have thrown away another plant I've killed through neglect. Don't let me watch your kids unless they can open the fridge by themselves and reach the sink.

2.) I am tired of my responsibilities and want to buy a camper van with satellite wifi and drive around the country for at least a year. I could take showers at Gold's Gym or something. 

Aaaaargh.

Yeah, plants die quickly at our house. Except for our one random indestructible hibiscus which is now a monster. But I just threw away another dead plant, myself, so I get you.

Willow fought a long, drawn-out battle w/ our plants and finally succeeded in killing them all off. At least, I totally blame the cat for their deaths. Lack of water from me really had nothing to do w/ it!

Like Blue, I blame my cats for the fact that my one and a half remaining plants (a peace lily and the remains of a mutant spiderwort) are barely alive only by dint of being shut up in the office where Spencer and Thelma can't get at them. The fact that I forget to go in the office for days on end has nothing to do with their current state.
