Love this! I'm addicted to first-time scenes -- I swear I could write 6 of them, each different, each plausible in its own way. There are so many unanswered questions for this time period. How much was honest desire on Ianto's part, how much manipulation? How much desire on Jack's part for Ianto in particular, how much was just him being kind of bored or lonely? Was it a respite for either of them, or both, or was it a sort of ongoing fight?
I like this scenario a lot. It's not sentimental, it's not angry, it's just...what it is. Wanted on both sides, but still not a reason to really break the ice. A scene that shows how it's possible to get naked without actually stripping anything important. (I liked how it began with Ianto noting the armour of his tie, and ended with a realization that the professional formality still hadn't been broken.)
