Somebody up there doesn't love me

We're having a crisis. DirecTV has melted down. The website is down, they're not answering the customer service line and the "upgrade" they've done has deleted everything on our DVR, which includes many, many saved episodes of Angel, Doctor Who and Dollhouse.   I'm a tad miffed, to say the very least.

Husband: "OH. MY. GOD. WE LOST THE ENTIRE NEW SEASON OF THE L-WORD AND I HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET."

He is inconsolable.
