I agree he did feel remorse and Jack does make people fall crazy in love. There's more to those pheremones than just sex if you ask me.

I may be super sensitive to character assassination these days especially since the new Torchwood spoilers just get worse and worse. I honestly think a wake for the real Captain Jack Harkness is going to be in order.
