Wow. The first word that comes to mind is "intriguing". I'm still thinking through the fic and pondering the aftermath. The ending you chose kinda gives me the creeps, but in a very good way indeed! And the rest of it -- the growing intimacy -- is so very well done. I'm not a Gwen/Ianto shipper by any means, but I'm surprised they held out for a year before the sexxin'. :) And the vignettes, I think, comprise the perfect way to tell the story, like we're checking in on them every few days/weeks/months. Like a strobe light being flashed on their lives.

This is a great story.
